It’s natural to have tons of questions when considering leaving your beloved pet with a stranger for the first time. To help you, I’ve provided a list of some of the frequently asked questions I'm confronted with below.
How much do you charge
Rates depend on your location, how many cat you have and if you have any special needs, so please drop me a message! Peak time fees apply: extra 20% on Bank Holiday weekends and 50% on Premium Holidays which are Christmas (24th, 25th, 26th,27th Dec) New Year (31st Dec. 1st and 2nd Jan.) Easter Friday-Monday
What does the cat sitting involve exactly?
My daily drop-in visit basically is the same care and attention that you would give your cat, and I’ll treat your cat as he/she would be mine. Ensuring they’re fed and watered, giving them lots of cuddles and playtime if they want, emptying the litter tray. One visit takes 40-50 minutes. If there is anything extra they require, please just ask me!
Will you send me daily updates?
Yes, I’ll send you pictures and videos daily and offer video calls too.
My cat shy/nervous/unsociable
Don’t worry about that. I never force anything and neverapproach or disturb a cat who is distressed with strangers. I worked with veryshy cats and kittens, even with stray cats as Cat Socialiser.
Do you have DBS/police check and insurance?
Yes, I have and you can check my certificate at the first meeting, I'm fully insured by British Pet Insurance for Professional
Have you had any special training?
Yes, I’ve had: Cat Welfare course, Feline Wellbeing course, Feline behaviour course and Safeguarding training.
Have you had any experience with kittens?
Yes, I work with kittens as a Cat Socialiser from day 1 to age of 8 weeks.
Do you have any requirements from clients?
Yes, your cat needs to be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, except breeders and kittens under age of 8 weeks. Unfortunately I won’t be able to look after your cat if he/she has any infectious disease or FIV/FELV positive!
